Couponing on Vacation?

This week I was away on vacation at a week long extended family reunion on the beach!  We had a lot of fun and of course the beach was great!  Do you think I took a break from couponing?  NO WAY!  I still got a few deals including the back to school extreme deals from Staples and some Shaws deals.  I have been looking for good deals on fun beach food and vacation items for months and hiding it from my kids so I brought most of what we needed with us.  Oh, and milk in the state of Maine is ridiculously priced.  I got it in New Hampshire for just $2.59/ gal.  In fact I stopped to buy 2 gallons, stuck it in my cooler and took it back to Maine with me.  Best deal of the week was the 50 cent rice cakes at Shaws, they are $2.19 in Saco but only $1.50 in Seabrook (with $1 off everyday essential item coupon), my kids ate a whole pack every day on the beach!
